MISSIONARIES TO ALBANIA

CREATING SUSTAINABLE MINISTRY

AND A CULTURAL TRANSFORMATION

Stepping Out In Faith

Like many of you, Jessi and I believe one of the best ways for us to serve God’s Kingdom was to be senders. This was by supporting those in full-time ministry with prayer and financial support. It was always a great joy and responsibility to find people we could come beside and ministries that focused on causes that matched passions God placed on our hearts.

After being in business for over 15 yrs, God has now called us to step onto the front lines of vocational ministry using skills in business to come along Christians to impact their communities for Christ.

Please consider joining us with your prayers, financial support, and visiting Albania as we join Christians, living in countries among the least reached, to build God's Kingdom through Business as Missions.

About Eric & Jessi

Our Backstory

For years Jessi and I have been listening to and wrestling with this call. The timing, location, and purpose have all been carefully prayed over and considered.

You may be saying to yourself, "Wow, that's a surprise." Or even like me a few months ago, "Where is Albania?"

Find out more about this journey and why Albania has a great need.

Our Vision Trip

We visited Albania to meet the team and assess the need

prior to committing to join Operation Mobilization in Albania.

Our Work

Our Ministry Work

BUSINESS AS MISSIONS

Provide tools and training for aspiring entrepreneurs within the body of Christ so they can continue to live in their towns and establish a community of believers who impact their world for Christ.

Disciple Christians in our business training by teaching biblical principles to apply to work and community impact.

Establish an investment fund to provide seed money to start and scale businesses owned by Christians who have gone through the program and have viable business models.

What WE Think

What We Think

Zoe

Zoe Thinks

Zoe is excited to move to the "island of Albania." Albania is not an island, but I guess years of visiting family in Hawaii makes all other places you go to an island as well. She said she is also looking forward to making new friends.

Landon

Landon Thinks

"I think it is interesting that in Albania when you nod your head yes it means no, and shaking your head no means yes! I have started to learn some Albanian words too."

Landon has a natural ability to connect with people. He is sure to have a leg up from the rest of the family in meeting new friends and getting assimilated into Albanian culture.

Ethan

Ethan Thinks

"I'm looking forward to seeing new places. I hope to see a lot of areas in Albania and hopefully travel to neighboring countries."

Jaden

Jaden Thinks

"I'm excited to see and go outdoors. I think it will be fun to hike in the mountains and swim in the Adriatic Sea. I am also looking forward to learning new languages. Outside of learning Albanian, I also want to learn Italian and Greek since they are also spoken there. My mom says that I still have to study my Latin too. So, I should have a great resume for college with this experience and if I learn all these languages."

Jessi

Jessi Thinks

"Two of my greatest desires as a mom have always been raising kids who are passionate followers of Jesus Christ and who have a heart for missions and the world. For years, I have included lots of books and studies on different countries, cultures, and missionaries in our homeschool curriculum. I am so excited that God is giving us the opportunity to live out what we have been reading about for so long! While Eric is the only one of us who will have an official role with OM, I fully believe that God hasn't just called him, but our whole family, and has a plan for each one of us while we serve in Albania. I am excited to see what he does in us and through us during our time there. Also, I have always wanted to live in a different country so I am super excited about that!"

Eric

"One of the most exciting things for me as we join OM is that our mission team is truly international. I love that people are coming from all over the world to this small country with one purpose - "To Make A Vibrant Community of Christ Followers." The team consists of Germans, Koreans, Central Americans, Australians, and Albanians. We all have our own area of ministry. Some are focused on medical needs, some are church planting, others are youth ministry, and mine is in economic development and creating sustainable ministries. I'm excited to see what God will do with this community coming together for His purpose."
